ANNA MARIA BARANOWSKA

Since graduating from BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design in 2009, Anna worked on high profile residential and commercial projects. In 2014, Anna graduated with distinction and was awarded top of her year in MA Interior & Spatial Design at Chelsea Art College London.

Anna founded AMB Studio in 2015, a multidisciplinary company with design at its core, specialising in spatial design, business and design consultation. In 2016 Anna founded Solarium Point in Ramsgate, an urban salon with a goal to transcend and transform every aspect of the traditional salon experience.

Anna is a Lecturer and Year 02 and 03 convener for BA Interior Architecture and Design at the Canterbury School of Architecture, UCA. Anna is also an Associate Lecturer for MA Interior Spatial Design at the University of Arts London in Chelsea.

In practice Anna engages with the past and how it performs through the present by juxtaposing material ideas and concepts against layers of historical and social information. Anna's practice is to apply parameters that deploy a process of reconstruction by mapping a space of non-existence. Anna started her PHD 'Mapping Space' in September 2019.
